Post Name: Police Constables

Total Vacancies: 1500 Posts (1200 Male) and (300 Female)

Pay Scale: Rs.5910-Rs.20200/-

Grade Pay: Rs.1900/-

Job Location: Himachal Pradesh

Eligibility Criteria for HP Police Recruitment of Constable:-

Educational Qualification: Candidates applying for above vacancies should have passed 10+2 exam from recognized board. Candidates appearing in 10+2 are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as on 01-02-2016): 18 to 23 years

Important Note: All candidates must have valid registration in any of the Employment Exchanges of HP on the date of submission of application form and he/she must be a bonafide Himachali as per record.

Age Relaxation for vacancies in HP Police: 

• For SC/ST/OBC Candidates : 2 years

Application Fee: 

• General Category Candidates: Rs. 120
• SC/ST/OBC/IRDP Category Candidates: Rs. 30

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of following selection process:-

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
• Written Examination
• Personality Test
• Medical Examination
• Verification of Character and antecedent
