Bhagat Singh who is known as Shaheed Bhagat Singh was hanged-till-death by Britishers in the Central Jail in Lahore at 7.15 pm on March 23, 1931. Protesting against the colonial rule by Britain in India, Bhagat Singh and B K Dutt threw a gas-bomb inside the Central Assembly hall in New Delhi on April 8, 1929.
